Leak Detection
This is accomplished using a highly sophisticated helium detection system. Simple soap or dipping in water is no longer effective due to the kinds of refrigerants that are on the market today.
Evacuation and Painting
After leak detection, all compressors are evacuated to 250 microns and charged with a 5# holding charge of nitrogen. The compressors are then painted to match manufacturer’s original colors and skidded. Afterwards, the compressors are connected to our WatchDog system.
