SUB ASSEMBLY

After cleaning, all internal parts are checked for tolerance and are approved for assembly.  Terminal plates are completely disassembled, cleaned, resurfaced, and then assembled with all new parts.  They are torqued using a pre-set torquer tool, which automatically stops at exact inch/pounds required by the manufacturer.

Assembly Preparation

The compressor castings go through our machining department for cylinder sleeving, line boring of main bearings, and on our Bridge Port to set the valve finger stoppers.

The finished crankshaft and castings are put on a conveyor for quality control (QC) inspection and approval before sub-assembly parts are laid out on an assembly tray.
